Hairstyle Advice

The BossHairstyles.com website is maintained by the Boss sisters. We are not professional hairstylists - just hardcore hair junkies! So, we can't offer you hairstyling advice.

How to Select a Hairstylist

If you do not have a favorite hair salon or stylist, the most important task at hand is to first select a hairstylist.

Start by interviewing hairstylists that family members and friends recommend. It is important to develop an ongoing relationship with a hairdresser that listens to you, and can help you select a hair cut, hair color, and hairstyle that's right for you as an individual.

The following must be considered, examined, and discussed by you and your hairstylist, in person:
1) Hair features: texture, volume, form, and health
2) Facial features: face shape, nose, eyes, cheekbones
3) Personality (likes and dislikes) and lifestyle (student, busy mom, career woman, etc.)

Then together, the two of you can determine the hair cut, hair color, and hairstyle that will work best for your unique blend of physical characteristics and personality traits.
